Bottletop Craftsmanship: Inspiration

The inspiration behind Bottletop bag designs comes from a range of sources. The raw materials we are working with and the techniques that we are applying provide the framework for the collection and the direction we then take will be influenced by any number of things; the culture and people of the region in which we are working, an exhibition we have been inspired by, an encounter or a story from one of the education projects that we support through our foundation. We are perpetually travelling so lots of ideas come from being always on the move. Much of our work is done through collaboration and that process is more about a conversation and an exchange of ideas. The music we are listening to will also invariably influence the mood of the collection.
