BOTTLETOP x BAFTA Awards 2017

BOTTLETOP is proud to be the Official Bag Partner to the EE British Academy Awards in 2017 and is thrilled to have created a special edition tote design for all nominees in partnership with Artisan.Fashion; a social enterprise in Kenya producing handbags and accessories for the worlds leading fashion houses.

Created with East African farmed cotton and weaved by hand in Kenya, each bag is meticulously hand cut, screen printed, embossed and individually tailored.

The patchwork lining of the bag is made from up-cycled shirts and the aluminium parrot clips are made from up-cycled car engine parts, taps and padlocks.

The BAFTA mask is embossed in Kenyan leather and is playfully mirrored by the BOTTLETOP icon logo.

BOTTLETOP has created a special edition of the ‘Rangau’ design in cobalt blue and dove grey available exclusively at bottletop.com for £150. Matching function with form, these gorgeous, capacious bags are ideal unisex day bags; ideal for beach, gym and weekends away.

The creation of each design is positively impacting artisans in Kenya.
