Bottletop Rio Launch Party
As the 2016 Olympics drew to a close BOTTLETOP staged an exclusive exhibition in Rio for the designs that it created for the Opening Ceremony, coulped with a Preview of the FW16 collection at the historic Bhering Chocolate Factory.
Suspended from the ceiling at Feira were the custom enamel ‘Firesword’ outfits that BOTTLETOP designed for thirty dancers who performed in the Opening Ceremony. The walls featured a series of images of BOTTLETOP muse and brand ambassador Lais Ribeiro, photographed in NY by Grayson Hoffman, wearing a white catsuit based on the design created for Brazilian superstar singer Ludmilla who featured in one of the most explosive moments of the Opening Ceremony. The exhibition was styled by Daniella De Aguiar.
The event was co-hosted by Gringo Cardia, Nachson Mimran, Arieh Mimran and Waldick Jatoba, the curator of MADE, South America’s leading design fair. Guests included actors Chay Suede and Marisa Orth as well as model Fernanda Liz and Olympic sailing gold medallist Ricardo Felice.

Guests enjoyed rare intimate performances from iconic Brazilian band Azymuth with super-producer and bass player Kassin joining them live on stage for the first time. The hottest new DJ duo rom Rio, Balako, set the scene.

The aluminium Miller airstream was reimagined as a BOTTLETOP concept store with special limited edition BOTTLETOP pieces.
Guests enjoyed fabulous beverages throughout the night courtesy of our partners Miller, Chandon and Do Bem.
The event was proudly sponsored by Ruppert International and Luxios in partnership with MADE (Mercado Arte Design) and Feira, the beautiful interior design store on the ground floor, which partnered with BOTTLETOP on the launch.
