Narciso Rodriguez ♥ Bottletop Collection Launch Event

Last Friday evening saw the London Fashion Week launch of the Narciso Rodriguez (heart) Bottletop collaboration in partnership with Pepsi. 

With muse and brand ambassador Candice Swanepoel joining us from NY, in the midst of London Fashion Week, we were excited to show her the designs in situ at our exclusive UK stockist, Harrods, where we staged a photo call with Candice wearing a stunning Bottletop knit dress before everyone disappeared to get ready for the big night.

Bottletop was excited to be working, once again, with leading contemporary art gallery, Victoria Miro, and their beautiful new Mayfair space to present the collaboration with the US designer. With the stunning 'Playtime' exhibition by Isaac Julien as the backdrop to the launch, alongside campaign photography by Ben Watts, Kanye West's producer and Grammy nominee Ben Bronfman warmed up the audience. 

A blend of electro and hip hop welcomed glamorous guests and an international crowd of fashionistas in to Victoria Miro on a wet and windy Valentines day London evening. Carl Barat from Libertines arrived looking dashing in a sharp suit and took control of the music in time for the arrival of co-host Candice Swanepoel proudly carrying the 'Candice' bag.

Candice was given a tour of the gallery, which featured campaign imagery of her by leading fashion photographer Ben Watts, shot at Milk Studios in NY. These images were presented alongside photography of the team at the Bottletop atelier by documentary photographer Andre Vieira.

The evening marked the unveiling of the limited edition Narciso Rodriguez (heart) Bottletop Pepsi bottle in matte black, which was displayed in the gallery.

Bottletop Founders Cameron Saul and Oliver Wayman made speeches about the collaboration explaining the unique 18 month design process undertaken with Narciso Rodriguez to create the designs.

Bottletop Chairman Iain Renwick talked about the partnership with Pepsi and the platform that this is providing Bottletop to showcase the designs and fuel the Bottletop female empowerment program.
