We adore the design work of Italian fashion house Marni with its playful colour palette and crafty charm. Besides the gorgeous fashion pieces created by Consuelo Castiglioni every season for the label, Marni has exhibited a series of inspiring installations at the Milan Furniture Fair for the past three years with celebrated results.

This year the brand produced a series of 100 wicker chairs in sugary and citrus hues that make us smile. Working with Columbian ex-prisoners to produce a limited run of these retro designs, the pieces were sold through a charity pop-up shop and the profits went to ICAM, which helps imprisoned mothers to maintain relationships with their children.

We’re hoping for a second run soon.
