Who We Are
We are Bottletop, a UK based development agency that sets out to empower young people and alleviate poverty. Our staff and volunteers and those of our partners are experts in these areas. In terms of youth empowerment, Bottletop is driven by a small UK team working in close partnership with staff from each of the education projects that we support. In terms of social enterprise led poverty alleviation (through the generation of sustainable employment) Bottletop is driven by a sales and design team in Europe with a growing production team in Brazil and South Africa.
With ten years of experience in highly effective development models that have impacted peoples lives in terms of crucial needs (such as HIV prevention and improved livelihoods) Bottletop continues to dedicate itself to working at grass roots levels in support of individuals and communities. Our work is currently focused on projects in Brazil, Malawi, Rwanda, Mozambique and the UK.
At the heart of everything we do is the belief that empowerment is the key to development.
